My Kids
When my kids were little, they always made me laugh. (Now they just torture
me. Ha!) [or should I put "lol?"]
When I corrected Heather I used to say, "No, Heather. N-O, no." One day
when she was unhappy with me for correcting her, she said, "No, Mommy! P-Q, no!
When I grow big and you grow little I'm gonna tell YOU what to do!"
One time we were in Target when Derek was about 2 & Heather was 5. They were
in the shopping cart and this really attractive young lady walked by and
Derek reached his arms out & said, "Hey Lady, I want you!" I was embarrassed. lol
Heather was 3 years old (this was right before Derek was born) and being a
stay-at-home mom, I was able to read to her alot. Well, she picked up on this
and one day I was reading the funny papers to her but I needed to get dinner
started so I would skip some of the words. She caught me, though. One of the
words I missed was "hors d'ourves" and she said "Mommy, you didn't say 'horses
delivered!" She was so smart!!
